"The 2020 Linger Fox Family Vineyard is a two barrel blend of Syrah and Petite Sirah that spent 28 months in wood. Deep, fleshy and super-expressive, the 2020 hits all the right notes. The blend of Syrah and Petite works beautifully. Even with all its natural richness, the tannins are very nicely integrated. A burst of dark plum fruit, licorice and spice saturate the finish."

"From sandy soils in the middle of the Sta. Rita Hills, the 2020 Syrah Spear Vineyard shines for its purity and finesse. Ripe red and black fruits, flowers, spice, and dried herbs all make an appearance in the bouquet, and it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a seamless, elegant texture, and a great finish. The balance here is spot on, it has beautifully integrated tannins, acidity, and alcohol, and is another pure, seamless, incredibly impressive Syrah from this estate."
